Automatic Pool Cleaners

Most pools are built outdoors and are open to continual amounts of debris, leaves, dirt and dust etc. falling into them. Some of this material will be removed through the skimmer when the pump is running. However a lot of this will sink to the bottom, which makes the pool look dirty and encourage algae growth if left unattended.

The only ways to remove this is to either manually vacuum the pool or to install an automatic cleaner.

At Coastal Pool Cleaning we can provide you with the very best in automatic pool cleaners.

Pool cleaners fall into two basic categories - suction and pump-powered types.

Suction Type Units -  Baracuda, Poolvac & Polaris

These units connect to your system at the skimmer box (or in older pools at a separate vacuum point).

They are powered by the pool's filter pump and move around the pool in a random fashion.

When installing these types of cleaners we also recommend the purchase of a skimming vac plate and in very leafy pools a leaf trap cannister.

These extra items allow the skimmer to function correctly, give longer cleaner cycles, prevent blocked baskets and possible pump damage.

We offer free installation and delivery on all suction type cleaners.

Polaris 340

Pump Powered Units - Polaris and Jetvac

Both of these brands are the ultimate in automatic pool cleaners.

They require a separate pump to drive them.

The units are very efficient and have the ability to pick up large sized debris, never get blocked or caught up and they let  the skimmer simply skim the surface of your pool as it was designed to.

Contact us to see if your pool is suited to one of these excellent units.
